A Cessna 310 plane traveling from Boca Raton Airport crashed near the airport on Friday morning which ended in three fatal casualties. The aircraft took off from its departure point at 10:30 a.m. when its Cessna 310 model experienced mechanical failure shortly after takeoff. The plane took off toward Tallahassee International Airport where it traveled for less than 20 minutes at the time of the accident.

Crash Details

The plane crashed at an area adjacent to 3700 Airport Road which stood near Interstate 95 and the railroad tracks. Several people in the area heard a deep sonic thud as the plane flew at a position lower than normal before the crash occurred. A witness described a plane which made a reversed course towards the airport until it lost sight while flying close to the airport.

The flying aircraft struck a vehicle that remained on the ground. A passenger from the automobile received non-critical injuries however authorities confirmed all plane passengers lost their lives in the incident. The fire initiated by the plane crash operators managed to control successfully.
